Thank you for your wonderful recipes! Interesting about figs etc.
Eat these at night for 1.5 months: I dried fig, 5 organic unsulphured dried apricots, and 1 organic prune dried, these fruits contain substances that are able to repair tissues of the spine and intervertebral discs, also these substances strengthen the immune system and restore strength. I love all your posts you are amazing! Hugs
Same. And I have actually seen a few recipes for sweet focaccia pop up on social media over the last few weeks, using actual focaccia dough though. Tarte au Sucre / Butterkuchen are a bit softer in texture, and this quick dough method even more so - but it works so well with fruit and is so easy and quick to assemble.
Hi Donna, thank you for your comment. I don't have much experience baking with glutenfree recipes. But since this cake does not rely on gluten for structure (in fact, you want to mix the dough together so quickly so as to avoid developing any gluten in the dough) I would imagine it could work well with glutenfree flours.
I did a bit of digging around on the internet and have seen multiple recipes for this type of German quick dough using glutenfree flours. However, a lot of the recipes use eggs as well as a thickener like Xanthan gum in addition to glutenfree flours. So while you could try swapping in your favourite glutenfree flour in the above recipe, it might not be a 1:1 swap and the recipe might need further tweaks.
Here is a recipe that looked very decent: https://www.rezepte-glutenfrei.de/quark-ol-teig/ . It's in German but Google Translate should do the trick and you could then adapt her recipe using the additional flavours and toppings I suggest in my recipe.

I love the idea of a sweet focaccia - I've made focaccia many a time but never tarte au sucre. Will definitely have to give this a go!
