Wow Sofia! Such an interesting dive into a topic I really didn’t know much about! I loved seeing your gorgeous, enticing menus. I wish I could transport to that brunch on this sunny Sunday morning. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Thank you Lolly! I have to say our brunch supperclub was one of the most fun events we organised and the food was really delicious! Still dream about that day!

A good read! A macchiato was purchased in advance. A few friends run supperclubs. Some also have games or things on the table so the guests (who are usually strangers to each other) have something to talk about and break the ice. It also helps to buy time between courses.

Good call on the macchiato! And glad to hear you enjoyed it! And the tip about games or similar is a great one!

Agreed... another friend quite likes the New York Times questions to ask on a date guide. It gets a little serious / morbid in places, but there's some lighter hearted stuff in the mix.

Thank you for all of this great information, there are some good tips. I've often contemplated a supperclub, just never taken the plunge, I should perhaps take your advice and just do it!

Thank you Julia. It can be a bit scary to take the plunge but it is so worth it if you have been toying with the idea for a while! I mean, what is the worst than can happen, that you realize you didn't actually enjoy doing a supperclub? Well then you can just move on to things that you enjoy more!

Also, a few ways of taking the stress out of the first event is teaming up with a fellow foodie friend, doing a trial run of your menu with a group of friends and maybe also making sure that there are lots of friendly faces at your first supperclub and not just a bunch of strangers. One additional thing that also helped me with my nerves is realizing that quite a few of our supperclub guests arrived on their own and were equally nervous about how the evening would go! So it felt like we were all somewhat in the same boat.

Thanks Sophia for the encouragement and for the extra tips. And you’re quite right, probably some of the attendees and just as nervous as I would be.
